What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Room to Improve (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

After weeks of huge projects like mansions, period houses and of course, Daniel O’Donnell’s house, Dermot’s back on our screens tonight as he works to renovate a 1950s semi-detached home in Killester, North Dublin into an edgy and distinctive new home. Will this be another huge budget project like the last couple of houses we’ve seen? We’ll find out in a few hours time.

Brooklyn (BBC One, 8.30pm)

The network premiere of Saoirse Ronan’s moving and heartfelt romantic drama. Is there anything else you’d rather be watching on a snowy bank holiday Sunday? Get the fire lit and the blankets in so you can snuggle up on the sofa to watch the story of a young Irish woman in the 1950s who had very few opportunities in her home country. Hoping to get a fresh start, she emigrates to New York. Despite her relative success in America, she finds herself growing more and more homesick. Things get even worse when a tragedy occurs at home and she’s forced to deal with it while she’s thousands of miles away.

13 Commandments (Channel 4, 10.05pm)

Yet another continental crime thriller. Keep ‘em coming. This new series is set in a Belgian town. The murder of a 16-year-old girl has shocked the entire town, and police believe that the most prominent suspect is the girl’s uncle. That’s until the case takes a very unexpected turn.
